Google has recently confirmed that the number of searches in mobile phones overcome the ones in tablets and computers (in ten countries, including Japan and the United States of America).

Although many Google workers had already predicted this evolution, it was now announced in the AdWords service blog – a change that represents the rapid emerging of smartphones as a primary means of accessing the Internet.

Considering this data, Google is now developing new methods of showing ads on smartphones, since these are now the major way of communication for advertisers.

Google also started to benefit mobile friendly pages, which adapt to all screen sizes, thus the searches in mobile phones and computers will produce different results.
