Marketing Journeys 2018 - Back At ISCTE

The worlds of marketing and academic events have one name in Portugal: Marketing Journeys. This year is not an exception. The event is back next month, on the 17th and 18th of april. A gathering devoted to students, marketeers and marketing lovers.

ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (Lisbon) will once again receive, in its auditorium, the 7th edition of the event. Two days completely dedicated to the discussion of new and versatile marketing techniques and teachings.

This event is once again promoted by NAMI – the academic union of bachelor degree and master degree students from ISCTE Business School. Their mission is to develop student integration while creating platforms and such events to help the professional growth of future marketeers.

Hi INTERACTIVE supports this initiative and once again reinforces its partnership role in this academic event.

Customer Journey @ Marketing Journeys 2018

This year the focus will be on the consumer. This is the time of a massive overload of information, and people are used to do their research before buying a product or service. How can Marketing deal with that power in the hands of the customer?

This is the motto and this year’s challenge: how can Marketing appeal to a super informed customer and establish a connection? Should professionals act only during certain stages? Or follow the entire process? The so-called Customer Journey is the key point for several discussions and speakers. The buying process, focused on how to promote and keep the customer’s loyalty is what keynote speakers and attendees will talk about.

Students have the opportunity to be in contact with brands and their latest tendencies when it comes to marketing strategies. There is not a better way to learn other than being in contact with professionals and have first hand knowledge of an area of work and expertise that keeps constantly changing.

Several national and international companies such as Red Bull, EasyJet, Fox International or Mattel have visited past editions of the biggest academic marketing event in Portugal. This year, more that 50 speakers are expected, names to be revealed soon.
